• 98 Golf courses:
  There is no place on earth that offers as many places per square mile with very little restriction on play. • Alabama Theater:
  Throughout the year, the famed group Alabama makes appearances at its country music theater in Myrtle Beach. The Alabama theater also features a number of top country artists nightly.


• Carolina Opry:
  This 2,200-seat auditorium is breathtaking with its towering columns and grand staircases. A Myrtle Beach hot spot, the Carolina Opry is featured on The Family Channel's Country Music Spotlight television series, which frequently tapes performances by top country artists at the Opry. Since its opening in 1986, more than 3 million visitors have passed through the theater doors. If you are looking for a great live variety show, this is it.


• Brookgreen Gardens:
  What began as a small sculpture garden beneath a canopy of large oaks, planted circa 1750, has evolved into a 300-acre attraction with more than 2,000 varieties of native flowers and shrubs. Brookgreen Gardens has blooms year-round and also has an extensive wildlife park.


• Palace Theatre:
  If you are looking for big names and stars, the Palace Theatre has them. Come listen and see the best of country, jazz, comedy, variety and Broadway in state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Every seat is a great seat at the Palace Theatre.
